THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS TO SUCCESS, ONLY STAIRS

Nowadays, at my age, I find it interesting to find myself face to face with a college kid working behind the counter of a coffee shop, a fast food restaurant, a grocery store, and what not.  Sometimes, when there’s not a lot of customers, you see them peeking through their school notes while working to prepare for an upcoming exam.

Multitasking, that’s what they are doing.  Working students, that’s what we call them.  I was once like these kids.  Maybe some of you were once like them, too.  Don’t you just have the urge to tell them to keep it up, to never give up, to be patient, that they are on the right path, and that once they get their diplomas they will know what you are talking about?  There are no elevators to success, just stairs.  Hats off to all the working students out there!image
